Not a cheerful fact to know but Jung Yong Hwa was diagnosed with vocal cord nodules and acute laryngitis, and he was also hospitalised after collapsing from fatigue in 2010. He might require surgery for his throat condition in the future.

How do I rate his singing?: Although he can definitely carry a tune, Yong Hwa lacks the range. He tries his best everytime he is on stage but sometimes you can still detect the strain in his voice… 7/10
How do i rate his acting?: Even though he has only acted in one drama and is a singer by training, Yong Hwa has shown that he has the potential and talent in acting as well. His performance in You’re/He’s Beautiful was surprising good and a cut above many of the other singer cum actors… 8/10
My views: This young singer/actor, has a long and successful entertainment road to travel. He is talented in both music and acting making him versatile and flexible. I can’t wait to see him in more roles in dramas and I’m anticipating great things from him.
